If you have lost your password, you can reset it in just a few steps. However, you'll need to have access to the email associated to your account.

You can change your information and preferences from your "Account page"

We only accept MasterCard, Visa and PayPal. All the other payment methods (including Visa Electron and prepaid payment cards) are not supported.

If your payment is refused, please double-check the following points:

You have selected the right card type (Visa / MasterCard)
Your card number is correct
You have entered the right security code and expiry date
Your card has not expired
You have sufficient funds in your bank account

If you still have issues after checking the previous points, your bank might block the payment for your own security (our offices being located in France), and in most cases, getting in touch with your bank will solve the issue.

Otherwise, please get in touch with our support team, and we'll try our best to help you.

You can very easily update your credit / debit card information. Simply place your order as you usually do and enter your new card information instead of choosing the card saved on your account.

The new card will automatically replace the old one (which is deleted) in your account.

All your invoices are stored on your online space in the 'My orders' tab.

Coupons are generated automatically.

When you reach 20 points, you will receive your coupon by e-mail within an hour after your order.

The method to use them.

Your active coupons are available in the My Account section, My Coupons tab. We advise you to copy and paste them to avoid any character confusion - between the lowercase letter i and the number 1 for example.

You can change the currency displayed on Karaoke Version by clicking on the "Flag" icon at the bottom right of the site.

The different payment methods that are accepted:

Credit Card (Visa and MasterCard). This payment is secure in SSL mode (encrypted data).

All of these payment methods are secure; we never have access to your credit card numbers. On your bank statement, you'll see the name RECISIO on the label of operations. RECISIO is the name of the company that runs and manages Karaoke Version.

You can easily change the tone of any audio file on our site.

In the categoryVocal Backing Track, click on the up or down arrows next to the 'Play' button. You can change the tone in a maximum of 4 semitones (+4, -4).

The same arrows are displayed below the audio player in the category Custom Backing Track.

Unfortunately, we cannot change the tone of the titles in the section CDG Video Karaoke.

It should be noted that the change of tone reduces the quality of the audio files, but you have full freedom to download in a different tone and free of charge the files you have purchased, from your space My Files.

It's not possible to change the tone of the files CDG Video Karaoke directly from our website, unlike MP3 files (audio only).

Finally, here is how you can change and maintain the tone of your KFN files.

It's not possible to change the tempo directly from our website.

However, you can use a free audio processing software (e.g. Audacity) to change the tempo of your MP3 files.

Be aware that changing the tempo usually results in a decrease in audio quality.

All our videos are offered with backing vocals (if there are any in the original version) and without the main song.

If you wish to manage the volume of the voices, remove the chorus for example, we invite you to choose the video format "KFN" and to Download KaraFun player.

To change the video format, just go to the My Files and click on the button "Change" on the line of the video in question

To change the mix of a Custom Backing Track :

1. Login and go toMy Files
2. Click on "Change" next to the titles you want to modify. A window should appear with a preview.
3. Customize your title at will and click on the button "Download" when you are done.

This will generate a new version that will automatically download (this may take a few minutes, please be patient).

It's not possible to modify the duration of a playback directly from the site.

However, you can use a free audio processing software (e.g. Audacity) to modify the duration of your MP3 files.

If you want to get each track separately, the only way to do so is to create them separately and then download the separated file individually for each instrument/track.

And there is no need to worry when you modify your Custom Backing Tracks because you can do it as much as you want for free !

In order to change the key of your Custom Backing Track, you just need to click on the arrows next to the "Add to cart" button.

When you have selected your key, click on "Reload" and your new Custom Backing Track will be generated accordingly.

What happens if I've already purchased the tracks?

From your account, under "My Files", you just need to click "Change". The "classic" interface will show up and from there, the instructions are the same.

No, the WAV format is only available for the tracks purchased with an extended licence.

When you get one of the extended licences, you will be able to get the WAV file as well as the MP3 files from your "My Files" page.

The license offered with every track purchased on Karaoke Version covers the personal use of the tracks in the private circle (with friends and family).

You can also on a one-time basis and in a not-for-profit context use the instrumental versions purchased on Karaoke Version for public events that are exceptional, non-recurring, non-recorded and non-broadcasted (for instance, a school celebration, a fundraiser etc).

Using the tracks you have purchased on digital platforms like YouTube, Instagram etc. is not covered by the default licence and you need the appropriate licence as per the licence description.

Each licence is per track, meaning you do need a licence for each song you plan to use outside the perimeter of the free licence.

The license you buy on Karaoke Version gives you with certain non-exclusive rights - typically, Master Use - to reproduce our musical performances. However, to be in accordance with copyright laws, you must also obtain a license for the music composition.

A composition license can be obtained by contacting either your local music rights society (ASCAP, BMI or SESAC for the USA, PRS for the UK, SACEM for France etc.) and/or the publisher(s) of the individual song, depending on the form of exploitation.

For example, a synchronization license is always granted directly by music publishers. You may also contact our partner Easy Song Licensing to help you obtain these rights.

You can upgrade your licence after your purchase, whether you haven't purchased a licence or you want to upgrade for a higher licence.

However, please note we do not credit past purchases when upgrading new licences. You will always have to pay the full price of the licence whatever you purchased in the first place.

Yes, you will be able to display a printable page from "My Files" that you can save and/or print with the licensed track and your personal information.

The extended licensing options are only available for the Custom Backing Track section.

The Custom Backing Track is our multi-track, customisable format that's the best fit for any professional usage requiring extended licensing.

You can further customise your Custom Backing Tracks after your purchase while keeping the same licence (it is available for any mix you create).

To speed up the loading of the pages, we only propose extracts of each multi-track title when you pre-listen to it (even when you have purchased this title). The full version will be proposed when you download the file.

If you want to download the tracks separately, just create them one by one, keeping only the track you want (reducing the volume of the other tracks) and then downloading the corresponding file.

The modification of your Custom Backing Tracks is unlimited and free.

After the payment validation, your selected files are listed on the My Files page.
Here are a few tips if you are having trouble downloading your files:

Try to download the file manually: select the file you want to download and click on "Download MP3," then click on "Download the file manually."
Try to close any antivirus or protection software.
If you have any Download Accelerator software, disable it and try again.
Try to install Mozilla Firefox, which is a free and powerful browser available here. This browser is compatible with our downloading system.

If the download doesn't start automatically, or if something happens during the process, on the "Begin download" page, you can click on the following sentence:

To receive the email and file correctly:

Ensure that support@karaoke-version.com is accepted (and eventually, add it to your permitted contacts)
Ensure that your mailbox can handle large files.
Ensure that your email client or your antivirus won't prevent you from opening the file.

This method will only work for files under 20Mb; therefore, you must download the files that are over this limit.

On each page, we provide a link for you to report errors in the lyrics.

We don't create titles on demand, due to the high cost of a production (musicians, sound engineers, studio etc.) and the long delay.
