Although merengue may seem simple, the relationship between the percussion instruments can be quite complex. All that being said it's a decent attempt. Only thing is that this song is actually by an artist known as July Mateo "Rasputin". Somewhere someone who didn't know better thought it was Wilfredo Vargas and uploaded it on youtube. Unfortunately Rasputin passed away and I guess theres no one looking out for his music.
